As for the video call software, Nikon Webcam Utility is compatible with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Facebook Messenger, and Skype. But alas, Nikon Webcam Utility isn’t compatible with my ancient Nikon D7000. I was eager to try out the software and show the full glory of my eye bags at our next staff meeting. Open the video conferencing software that you want to use, select your Nikon camera as the webcam, and there you have it. If you use an external mic, plug it into the computer’s mic port. Download the software, install it, and connect your camera to the computer using the USB cable you got with it. But even if you haven’t, it’s not difficult to use it at all.
